The PWM Technology Business Analysts and Project Managers partner closely with business colleagues to understand business needs and provide critical technology analysis, project management and oversight. PWM leverages a global technology platform, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to onboard clients and manage their wealth. Our software helps realize our client goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS The role requires an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager, based in Hong Kong, to work as part of the Asia PWM Technology team in a fast-paced and growing wealth management business. The successful candidate will provide first line application support, and work on several key initiatives, with a focus on the PWM Asia business including both regulatory and discretionary projects .
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Overall project management of complex, cross-functional development projects, collaborating with multiple, PWM and firmwide technology teams to plan, manage and implement solutions
Working closely with counterparts in business, compliance, legal, operations and technology to develop a deep understanding of PWM business and technology
Providing technology focused business analysis to translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications and to contribute to strategic functional architecture
Driving prioritization and oversighting implementation of Asia business requirements in global initiatives
Providing summarized status and management information to aid the decision making process
Basic Qualifications / Requirements
Knowledge and experience with cross-asset class products and trading flows
Excellent analytical skills to distill complex issues and identify key risks - often with incomplete information
Track record of engagement with and ability to influence a diverse group of regional and global stakeholders
Experience in representing business needs to global technology teams, independently, or as a team
Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience
Experience in assessing and managing risk
Commitment to excellence, a commercial mindset, and a desire to deliver quantifiable benefits
A high level of integrity to protect sensitive private client information
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Previous technical experience - application development / strong understanding of software development
Experience or a strong interest in wealth management
Chinese language proficiency (Mandarin)
Experience in simultaneously managing multiple initiatives
