As a Lead Credit Analyst - Credit Card your main responsibilities will be
Identifying key portfolio issues requiring further investigation using in depth knowledge of credit portfolio performance.
Leading projects and work streams.
Applying your ability to use industry leading analytical techniques and greater experience in providing solutions to complex and challenging business problems.
Utilising your high degree of expertise in the use of statistical software (e.g. SAS) and coaching less experienced analysts.
Working autonomously, requiring little guidance from management to complete complex work.
Minimum skills and experience required
Proficient knowledge of a common statistical programming tool (e.g. SAS).
Good understanding of database technology and procedures for extracting and storing data from production systems to data-warehouses and the procedures for manipulating this data.
In depth knowledge of a range of predictive modelling and optimisation techniques.
Portfolio analysis skills, particularly the use of segmentation to diagnose issues and identify opportunities.
Project management skills, to estimate the time taken to complete work for self and others.
Sound understanding of statistical techniques for measuring, analysing, predicting and improving business performance.
