About Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to lead and manage geographically dispersed team members responsible for providing Enterprise Database Security (EDS) including focusing on masking sensitive data in non-production environments using Delphix data masking software .
The position requires a thought leader who can drive innovation for delivering security; while maintaining critical metrics and unit cost information that provide transparency to the service. This role requires a clear understanding and technical knowledge of enterprise database environments including test data management and data masking technologies . This position also ensures staffing is adequate to support enterprise database security solutions. Prior SDLC management experience technology and creativity will help extensively to assess impact and risk, provide insight/direction on short-term mitigation, and influence security solutions.
Managing the EDS operations team responsible for IBM Guardium and/or the EDS data masking team using Delphix data masking software
Facilitating the relationships between the information security organization and various line of businesses
Conducts research and makes recommendations regarding innovative products and services
Influences and recommends technology selection to meet database security requirements
Monitors projects to ensure timely delivery and partner satisfaction
Maintains regular communication with all levels of leadership within our IT organization
Administering a budget, operating policies, and planning for the team.
Providing direction and on-going leadership for 24/7 support in an on-call rotation, and for new database security solution development
Guiding subject matter experts responsible for retaining knowledge/expertise surrounding the end-to-end implementation, functionality, and external dependencies
Assessing and instituting career development/training opportunities, mentorship to team members, performance reviews, as well as lead improvements to the department service model, processes, and work flow
Ability to make audit-related assessments, document changes needed, deploy feasible audit-related changes
Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in consensus and commitment
Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes

Market Skills and Certifications
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of: database security, database administration, database technology, test data management, data masking, information security, or IT systems security
7+ years of information security experience
3+ years of management experience in one or a combination of: database technology, test data management, data masking, information security, or IT systems security
3 + years of database auditing, database monitoring experience, or a combination of both
3+ years of experience in managing an activity monitoring service, or a data masking service
3+ years of change management experience
4+ years of project management experience
3+ years of managing large projects
3+ years of process definition and documentation experience
Demonstrated knowledge of database security, administration, design and architecture to include:
Experience or proven understanding of managing database roles, database logins, users, and user profiles
Experience or proven understanding of managing database audit events and audit records
Experience or proven understanding of managing system and database traces and trace files
Experience with database encryption methodologies
Understanding of database compression algorithms and implications to security
Knowledge of database firewalls and other database security solutions
Experience with SQL injection detection and prevention strategies
