About the Role This is a senior developer role within EFT Data Technologies WIM Data Services BI Reporting team, which is responsible for analyzing the project requirements, prepare report design documents, coding, and unit testing of the developed code. Conducting design and code reviews for the artifacts developed by other team members is expected, This role reports functionally to Tech Lead and aligns to the US WIMT Data Delivery team.
Is responsible for developing operational reporting solutions for Wells Fargo Advisors applications using Actuate reporting tool.
Is responsible for analyzing the report requirements, prepare the high and low level design documents, develop the reports using Actuate e.Reports Designer Pro tool, unit test the reports, support the QA and production deployments stages.
Is responsible for following the project plans, milestones, and delivering the project deliverables on time - every time.
Is responsible for ensuring the Actuate coding standards are followed without any deviation.
Is responsible for escalating the roadblocks in the report development process.
Is responsible for updating the project documentation, ticket logs, and governance reports (Status Reports, Metrics Dashboards, Defect Trackers etc) wherever needed
Is responsible for conducting design reviews and code reviews within the team
Is responsible for onshore interaction and should be able to drive the review and status meetings
Closely works and assists Senior team members in handling scheduled / unscheduled issues like - defects fixing, impact analysis, break-fix maintenance etc
Work on Process Documentation or updating the Standard Operating Procedures
Demonstrate understanding of BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas.
Assists in preparing programming specifications and completes programming tasks to maintain or modify current reports or to develop less complex solutions
Participates in the EACO Calls / meetings with the Sr Technology Leadership Team Members or business users or customers
Market Skills and Certifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Engineering.
7+ years of IT experience in reporting tool like Actuate eRD Pro, OpenText iHub, BIRT etc.
Strong experience in developing, troubleshooting, and enhancing the reporting solutions using Actuate eReport Designer Professional tool.
Sound knowledge of reporting concepts and principles such as bursting, drill-down/up reports, sub-reports, grouping etc.
Strong working experience with relational databases like Oracle, DB2, etc. should be good at PLSQL programming.
Working experience with OpenText iHub would be a plus.
Performance tuning experience with the reporting solutions would be a plus.
Ability to pay attention to details and good organizational skills. Good oral and written communication skills
Must be willing to work in 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM IST shift.
Experience in project development and maintenance environment with interfacing with the global stakeholders.
Experience in Banking Domain is desired (not mandatory).
