We are looking to hire a highly-motivated and hard-working individual who has strong interpersonal skills as a Third-Party & Technology Distribution Manager and FICC MiFID Model Coordinator for Global Research. As part of the Global Research Digital team, the candidate will be responsible for the management and oversight of all arrangements with third-party distribution and/or analytics platforms through which Research content produced by J.P. Morgan's Global Research group is distributed or analyzed, as well as direct distribution of Research content to clients, including via FTP feeds and APIs. The candidate will also own the FICC Research High Touch pricing model within Research. In addition to these core, principal responsibilities, the candidate will, time permitting, support other distribution-related digital technology projects across Global Research, such as improvements to the Research J.P. Morgan Markets platform.
Key responsibilities will include:
Own the relationships with third-party distribution and/or analytics platforms - both on a-day-to-day and at a strategic level and understand how JPM Research is consumed by our Clients across these platforms (including different analytic tools applied to content) and incorporate relevant metrics into reporting
Ensure contracts are in place and maintained with all third-party distribution and/or analytics platforms through which JPM Research content is distributed or analyzed, and with clients to which JPM Research content is distributed directly via FTP feeds and APIs
Manage TPO (Third Party Oversight) process for all agreements with all third-party distribution and analytics platforms as required
Create, manage and own the inventory of all third-party platforms to which we distribute Research content and data, and maintain a summary of key terms across platforms in collaboration with Legal
Oversee distribution process to third-party platforms and client feeds/APIs end-to-end; manage and oversee the Mumbai Research Operations team in this regard on behalf of the Research business; travel to India required circa 1-2 per year
Partner with Research Operations team to design and provide appropriate regular reporting on Research content distribution to third-party platforms and clients, including via feeds or APIs; lead regular reviews to ensure compliance with key terms
Monitor distribution of any third-party data to our clients, e.g. via FTP feeds and APIs, and ensure that appropriate licenses are in place for such redistribution of third-party data
Oversee the evaluation and management of JPM Research-related data use and analytics cases with third parties
Ensure that risks in the end-to-end processes of research content distribution to third-party platforms and direct to clients, e.g. via FTP feeds or APIs, are identified and flagged to Control Partners and incorporated in appropriate risks and controls frameworks
Brief senior management regularly on current state of research distribution and analytics on third-party platforms, as well as recent developments and trends in this area
Facilitate development of J.P. Morgan's strategy for distribution of Research content to third-party platforms and own execution thereof; input into overall digital distribution strategy for Global Research
Partner with Research and Sales (including CRM), as well as relevant support functions - including Legal, Compliance, Business Control Management, Operations, Technology, and Business Management on distribution of Research content via feeds/APIs to third-party platforms and clients
Own within Research the FICC Research High Touch Pricing Model for clients that are in-scope of MiFID II Research Unbundling rules
Own the process for annual review of the FICC Research High Touch Pricing Model, adjustments to pricing model and sign-off
Ensure that any requirements regarding the implementation and reporting of the FICC Research High Touch Pricing Model are appropriately documented in technology book of work and support Business Management on prioritization
Coordinate within FICC Research Management, as well as with CRM/Sales and with relevant support functions regarding the FICC Research High Touch Pricing model- including Legal, Compliance, Business Control Management, Research Operations, Research Technology, and Business Management; liaise with Equity Research Management and CRM/Sales regarding consistency with Equity Research High Touch Pricing Model
Participate in Audits and Compliance tests relevant to distribution of research content
As time permits, work on other distribution-related digital technology projects across Global Research
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
Solid understanding of Markets and Research; previous experience in Research industry is desirable
Understanding of the MiFID II Research Unbundling rules and other regulation that impacts the distribution of Research content
