Job Description : Job Description This position supports Private Financial Advisors and other Central Support (e.g., Sales and Client Service) Investment Associates with the fulfillment of operational requests related to account opening & maintenance and transfers & cashiering. This position is part of the central Investment Account Services team and is not aligned to a particular Private Financial Advisor. This team plays a critical role in providing operational expertise and executional support in relation to account opening, maintenance, transfers of assets and cashiering requests. Partners with Investment Services Operations to ensure timely fulfillment of Advisor and client requests. Liaises with Sales & Client Services IAs to gather additional information and clarify requests as needed. Uses workflow tools to receive and track/report status of advisor and client requests. Complies with all compliance & risk management policies and procedures associated with the role.
Takes on additional Operations functions for the group as assigned by manager. The Account Opening & Maintenance IA role reports to the Investment Services Region Operations Manager.
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
The employee will be detail oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities, and will have strong written and oral communication skills.
2 years professional administrative experience, including 1 year of experience in the securities industry
FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 (or 66), and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam when applicable.
Strong proficiency in brokerage desktop tools and procedures.
Life and Health Insurance license.
3 years of experience in the financial services or securities industry
