What you will do You will serve as the primary point of contact for investment operations team at Fund Houses, Investment Management Firms and/or Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) on all aspects of client account activities. As the bridge between external investment operations team and NT internal processing teams, you will be exposed to and learn more about Custody Operations in general.
Candidates should enjoy working in a dynamic and fast pace environment, have a keen interest in the full spectrum of Custody Operational processes and have good client service skills.
Act as the primary liaison with the investment operations teams of your appointed client relationships. This may include Fund Houses, Investment Management Firms and/or Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) in the APAC regions.
Be responsible for handling queries pertaining to all aspects of your client account activities within the custody business. This may include but not limited to trades, corporate actions, income, cash, foreign exchange etc. Products covered may include equities, fixed income, money markets and private equity markets etc.
Serve as the bridge between the investment operations team at Fund Houses, Investment Management Firms and/or SWFs and internal NT processing teams.
Coordinates daily with your investment operations contacts regarding client account activities and inform them of any exceptions and propose steps for resolution.
Collaborate with Client Service team to make sure any client concern is addressed.
Be involved in service reviews and regular meetings with the investment operations team at Fund Houses, Investment Management Firms and/or SWFs.
Identifies service efficiency enhancements and process improvements using creative and proactive measures.
Keep abreast of fast changing market developments (especially in the APAC region) that your clients are transacting in.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Securities industry knowledge.
Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
Organizational skills are required to manage conflicting priorities and multitask functions in a fast-paced team environment.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Enjoy working in a dynamic and fast pace environment.
Have a keen interest in the whole spectrum of Custody Operational processes.
Comfortable dealing with external parties.
A College or University degree with relevant work experience across Financial Services industries.
Related Industry qualification or studying towards.
