We are looking for a talented and experienced compliance expert to lead our strong compliance oversight team. You will deliver expert advice, guidance and pragmatic, impartial oversight to key stakeholders within our award winning, ethically lead bank. If you can bring a background in regulatory compliance and conduct risk leadership, we are offering a brilliant opportunity to showcase your subject matter expertise in a flexible and supportive environment.
Act as deputy to our head of compliance, providing leadership, line management and coaching to our compliance and oversight team.
Challenge the business with regards to product launches, process changes and regulatory compliance, including the evolving conduct agenda to ensure customer outcomes remain a key focus.
Lead and oversee interpretation of proposed new regulations, monitoring implementation within required timeframes, highlighting strategic and operational impacts to provide awareness and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Develop, implement and maintain the compliance risk framework.
Lead and provide compliance input to major remediation and change programmes, working with the business solutions that balances risk verses commerciality.
Deep expertise and experience in compliance requirements applicable to retail & SME banking
In depth understanding of the UK compliance and regulatory environment, including a deep technical understanding of FCA handbook
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Experience in leading a team to deliver high performance, recognising the need to develop and coach individuals
Knowledge of open banking technical and regulatory requirements
