TD Technology Delivery / Partner Management covers planning and delivery of functions or services within segment CIO groups and/or across Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS). While investing heavily in nurturing business, client and partner relationships for end-to-end delivery of technology solutions or services, these professionals also oversee and directly manage multiple specialized functional teams (e.g. Application Development, Solutions Designers, Business Systems Analysts, Support, Project Management etc.) and seamlessly manage ongoing infrastructure support and shared services to segment CIOs, business leaders and various TD stakeholders. Let's not forget they communicate the technology organization's overall book of work and manage stakeholder expectations. It's a big and busy mandate.

Manage the development, delivery and support of software systems for a range of clients in TD Securities (Global Transaction Banking, Payments Operations and Enterprise Distribution-Retail FX) to support them in meeting their business objectives;
Technology solutions For Wire Payments, Trade Finance, Sanctions Screening, Reconciliations and Retail FX channels;
Function as technology partner in the development of the strategic direction for supported lines of business and driving strategic initiatives such as: Wire payments replacement, Bank of Canada (LVTS replacement) , Foreign Currency Accounts migration;
Direct large-scale applications/projects (30+ apps, $20MM annual budget) across multiple lines of business;
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards - particularly around SWIFT (eg. Customer Security program);
Manage a group of approx. 40-50 IT professionals (developers, analysts, specialists and project managers);
Financial accountability - oversight for project deliverables, timelines, project charters/costing, roles, responsibilities and critical milestones;
Research and innovate - may make decisions to build / buy / reuse system components to meet client expectations and project deliverables
Manage vendor relationships; ensure timely/accurate communication and resolution of issues; monitor billings/expenses against contracts; prioritize new/existing projects
Develop and manage a team of professional resources by recruiting, training, coaching and conducting performance assessment of team members
Provide leadership and coaching to attract/retain high quality people, including appropriate employee communication, sound structure/processes, succession planning, etc.
Expert knowledge of Bank and technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and projects
Sound knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business
