Measure limits utilization and other risk parameters set down by the Board, reviews exception reports and checks that problem accounts are properly graded
Perform measurement of credit risk exposures (both on and off balance sheet) for management information in according to the accounting standards (e.g. HKFRS 9)
Perform periodic reviews and analyses the quality of the credit portfolio under different dimensions (such as, product types, terms, maturity, trend and ratio, internal credit ratings, potential changes and utilization rate)
In using stress-tests or other techniques to measure the retail portfolio
Preparing credit risk analysis, MIS reports to management based on different dimensions on an on-going basis
Providing credit risk analysis on new products and projects
Perform loan recovery, provisioning and default process handling with other departments
Reviewing and constantly improving the current credit risk measurement, analytics and reporting process; manage and implement change and work closely with internal stakeholders.
Promote and implement the risk analytics and data-driven approach to expand and explore for the new business segment
Provide recommendation to senior executive for any potential problems & risks adhere to existing operation work flow and policies
Participate into the new product approval (NPA) process
Support needs from other stakeholders related to risk management
Ad hoc task as assigned by supervision
University degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance or related discipline
CPA or FRM or related qualification is preferred
Minimum 8 years' of relevant experience, preferably with banking or money lenders experience and knowledge of retail lending business
Have good knowledge of data analysis by using SAS / SQL programming, Qlik / Tableau and excel (VBA) skill
Keen interest in startup environment, fintech trends and sound knowledge of banking and financial products
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholders management, analytical and problem-solving skills
Great sense of ownership, self-motivated, work independently as well as being a good team player; Multi-tasked and able to work under tight timelines
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
