The Group Risk Management team develops and implements TD's risk management strategies, policies, reporting and operating frameworks, regulatory affairs and operations. We assess operational, enterprise and credit risks, and regulatory affairs throughout TD's footprint to ensure Bank has an effective operational risk management program within its risk appetite. Working as Senior Group Risk Analyst, you will act as a specialist in providing guidance and oversight on risk related matters. In addition, you will:
Develop and operationalize standards, policies and processes to identify, report and mitigate overall risk exposures within the business
Support ongoing risk measurement activities by acquiring, analyzing and reporting business operational or relevant loss data, and aggregating/escalating to appropriate areas
Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for business area
Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, stay in sync with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporting - Model Management and Analytics, this role will work closely with the Chief Accountant teams, TBSM, Forecasting and Analysis, Enterprise Risk Management and several other internal and external business partners.
Key Accountability includes:
Act as the primary analyst in the reporting and analysis of Risk Weight Asset (RWA) for US Retail portfolios.
Act as the primary analyst in the development of new processes to support additional reporting and reconciliation needed for reporting.
Analyze the movements in the monthly and quarterly reporting results and contribute to the preparation of the flash summaries to the executives.
Interact with peers from other risk management, TBSM, Chief Accountants and Finance areas within the Bank to understand new requirements, gather inputs and validate assumptions for new reporting initiatives and changes including Basel reform.
Collaborate with the Model Development and Implementation teams to perform impact estimation for new model implementations.
Work with the programming analysts and lead the development, enhancement and implementation of reporting processes to support on-going initiatives.
Contribute to complex data requests including the Basel Quantitative impact studies and OSFI data requests.
Lead the analysis work to support the ad-hoc requests from our risk executive and business partners.
Build and maintain relationship with other business partners including Risk Capital Assessment, Chief Accountant Department, TBSM and various Product groups by providing analysis support related to Regulatory and Economic Capital.
Ensure governance and controls related to regulatory reporting processes are adequate as per the internal and external audit standards and if any gaps are identified bring them to senior management's attention.
The lead on supporting the team and the management with internal and external audit reviews and compliance attestations.
Working knowledge of retail products, channels and related business line financial performance measurement standards or methodologies.
Have a good understanding of the basic drivers of retail credit risk and regulatory capital concepts.
Knowledge of Basel Capital Frameworks.
Strong working knowledge with preferably three or more years extensive hands-on experience using SQL and SAS in the context of data manipulation, data mining, and statistical analysis.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities, ensuring critical deadlines are met.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to independently identify and solve problems in an effective and timely manner.
Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often deadline-oriented and dynamic environment.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or similar disciplines. Postgraduate degree would be an asset.
PRMIA, FRM or similar accreditation is also considered an asset.
SAS Certification is considered as an asset.
