Our client, a global, independent alternative Asset Management business focusing on financial and business services, is looking to hire at Associate level to grow their very successful Credit team which works alongside their equally successful private equity (PE) team. The philosophy of our client is to deliver clear and consistent returns for their investors by working with market-lending businesses. They have developed a specialist, non-bank lending which leverages both expertise, relationships and data analytics to earn desirable risk-adjusted margins. Following this ethos has allowed our client to become the UK market leader. Due to a growing investment portfolio there is a requirement to grow the business at Associate level:
Our client has a very flat structure in the business so you will work on all aspects of credit & structured credit transactions. You will work on the origination, structuring (including in-depth analysis of existing and prospective positions) and execution of transactions. Use of advanced excel financial modelling to analyse financial data and translation of complex financial data into plain English for business use. Monitoring and analysis of existing investments. Analysis of new investments including due diligence, structural analysis and in-depth asset pool review. Providing reporting and commentary for the portfolio and individual asset performance.
The desired candidate will have a strong background in structured finance / securitisation with 2 years'+ experience and a deep understanding of structured lending. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial and curious mind set, together with a broad understanding of the macro environment and it's impact on prospective transactions.
