Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Collate relevant operation risk data sourced from the operational risk management system and related business and support units.
Assist in compiling management reports for apprising senior management of the Bank's control environment through extracting data from the master data base maintained.
Assist the Unit Head through active participation in relevant projects or working groups, in the development or implementation of automated tools/systems for operational risk management.
Monitor and follow-up with the BUs/SUs on timely completion of operational risk related tasks/processes including but not limited to (R)CSAs, KRIs, unit operational risk profiles, risk events update, corrective actions, PIR, etc., and reporting of status to the Team Head for related management reporting/escalation.
Maintain an accurate and effective data base by capturing and validating all the updated data collected from all related units.
Provide support to the department head on managing the meeting calendars, arranging business trips, manage the travel expense report, organizing workshops, managing staff events and maintaining an up-to-date organization chart.
Manage the departmental administrations including training and eLearning records, staff leave records, office supplies, staff access cards and new staff onboarding.
Manage and keep track of departmental expense including the office supplies expenses, production support charges and notebook inventory management.
Degree holder or above preferably in Business Administration or other disciplines.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in financial institution, knowledge and interest in Operational Risk
Proven experience in working closely with senior management.
Organized, mature, detail-minded candidate with strong communication skills.
Quick learner, cheerful, collaborative and adaptive.
Creative in recommending new ways of doing things.
Willing to go extra miles with good learning attitude.
Excellent command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
