Develop quantitative tools to assist portfolio managers in market view forming and asset allocation
Work with data-scientists and programmers/developers to build quantitative analytic models and tools
Understand and track latest developments in quantitative analysis used by industry players in investment/portfolio management and treasury
Job Duties & responsibilities
Work closely with portfolio managers to identify quantitative analytic tools to add value for CT-SPM team in portfolio management
Manage strategy and direct resource allocation for development of quantitative analysis capabilities in CT-SPM
Work with CT's dedicated data-scientists and programmers to develop quant tools and leveraging capabilities in machine learning/AI
At least 5 years of work experience as a quantitative analyst ideally in a markets related role (e.g. buyside, research, trading desk)
Knowledge of fixed income securities and financial markets highly preferred
Education / Preferred Qualifications
Good degree from recognized university in finance, maths, engineering, or computer science
Proficiency in Python and SQL a strong positive
Ability to work closely with the immediate SPM / portfolio management team
Will also work closely with Corporate Treasury programmers and data-scientists
Drive CT-SPM's quantitative analytic agenda within Corporate Treasury
Seeking a strong team player who can also work independently.
