Contributing to new business ideas and products by researching potential clients, and developments in the markets, presenting findings and recommendations
Preparing and presenting (or assisting with) deal-specific business proposals to existing and potential clients (ie, pitching)
Preparing the detailed models needed for deal acquisition and financing including:
Cash flow models and sensitivity analysis
Accounting / tax implications
Assisting the deal team with any activities that help the deal process, e. g., recording meetings and follow-up actions, following-up on client requests, assisting with papers / proposals to internal Committees
With experience, acting as No.2 / No.3 (depending on deal size / complexity) for assigned deals. Has delegated responsibility for handling client meetings or requests on specific aspects of the deal
Assisting with the preparation of Heads of Terms and other transaction documentation as required
Maintenance of internal business IT tools and deal database
Building and maintaining assigned client relationships
Graduate / MBA; legal, finance, surveying subjects or equivalent. Degree in Business, Mathematics or Economics
Some work experience within an active Corporate Finance, Structured Finance or investment banking environment is desirable and knowledge and interest in the Real Estate market
Excellent IT skills with advanced Excel capabilities, and competent with Notes, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent spoken and written English, preferably with business competence in a further European language
Proven experience to analyse and research. Motivated, self-starter and inventive. Desire and commitment to learn new things and grow professionally. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptation in order to integrate well into a small team already constituted
Numerate, analytical and familiar with the Commercial Real Estate market. Able to rapidly acquire financial modelling and due diligence skills. Able to rapidly acquire real estate market knowledge
