About the Department UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients' financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group's comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.
Supporting all Private Bank RMs in the markets covered in the various booking centre(s), with a focus on North Asian market or any markets as may be assigned by the Head of Wealth Planning and Insurance Advisory
Advising on solutions independently, as well as in partnership with appropriate tax/legal advisors
Collaborating with UOB PB RMs, product specialists and Bancassurance colleagues to provide holistic advice to clients for their estate planning, succession, asset protection and tax minimization objectives
Making presentations to internal and external audiences for training and/or marketing purposes
Meeting the KPIs and targets set out by the Head of Wealth Planning - including direct personal targets for successful insurance referrals
Job Requirements A candidate with passion and drive to support the marketing team at the Private Bank to advise clients on wealth planning solutions with a focus to deepen and widen the private banking relationship. Pro-active and service driven with a broad knowledge of wealth planning tools including the use of insurance for high net worth private clients.
Professional profile/ areas of expertise
University degree and STEP qualification, experience in a front office capacity working with high net worth individuals
Strong technical credentials in trust with a demonstrated proficiency for motivation, communication, planning and successful implementation
Broad base of financial skills relating to tax and estate planning
Direct working experience with professional advisors within their fields; well-connected in financial and professional communities
Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal, written & listening
Diplomatic negotiating skills, flexible and consensus builder
Able to establish credibility and instill trust and confidence
Demonstrates commitment to and complete understanding of professional, legal and compliance standards
Enthusiastic self-starter. Shows high level of drive and energy, making contribution to the overall success of the Private Bank with conviction
