About The Role Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 Role Type: Permanent & Full-time
As part of the Australia Retail & Commercial Operational Risk and Compliance function, this role will support the Head of Business Management and Technology Risk Manager to contribute and provide oversight for Australia Retail & Commercial Technology Risk management to ensure business units manage operational risk caused by the use of technology, and meet the requirements of ANZ ORMMF and Compliance framework.
This role is also required to assist and support the Risk Capability Manager in driving the uplift of operational risk & compliance capability through delivery of targeted training and communication to embed best practice risk culture.
The role will need to foster strong and effective working relationships across the OR&C team, 1st line Technology Assurance, and Enterprise Technology Risk Management.
Key responsibilities include:
Challenging and providing oversight of strategic projects to ensure project risk management disciplines, specifically ensuring the assessment, escalation and acceptance of significant risks being introduced by projects/technology changes is understood, and teams understand how the risk/controls impact the business
Providing review, challenge and guidance to Assurance on the resolution of risks caused by the use of technology as well as monitoring and reporting on progress
Review and challenge the technology related operational risk and compliance activities (such as Operational Risk Assessments, technology controls) ensuring adherence to various Information Technology related policies in place such as Cloud, Data Governance, etc.
Support the implementation of Information Technology Risk Management program to that it is embedded consistently across the division
Support the uplift of operational risk & compliance capability across the division
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in Technology Risk, IT Advisory, or IT Consulting
Experience in Operational Risk or Compliance-related disciplines
Financial services industry experience
Able to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Relevant tertiary qualification
CISA qualification (an advantage)
