We Offer Joining the team as the APAC representative of Competence Center Structures. The Competence Center Structures fulfills a global mandate to set standards and to advise the front organization about their business with trusts, foundations and layering of domiciliary companies. Moreover, the Competence Center Structure aligns with corporate functions on a daily basis. This role offers you the opportunity to further fine-tune the Competence Center Structures Operating Model. It is important to build relationships with all stakeholders and business partners across divisions, functions and hierarchical levels, to finally establish the Competence Center as an esteemed, reliable global team of experts. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Competence Center Structures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Establishing and building the profile of Competence Centre in APAC
Advising client facing employees as well as stakeholders of corporate functions in questions arising from doing business with structures
Leveraging your trust expertise to constantly improve standards and communicate them to the organization
Sharing your knowledge with team members, but also educating stakeholders as part of defined training
Performing Client reviews and identifying structure specific challenges
Representing Competence Center Structures in APAC as well as bank-wide projects and initiatives and providing structure-related expertise
Professional qualification (STEP/ICSA) and preference for a law degree
Several years' relevant experience in the trust industry in Asia, preferably within a multinational bank
Profound understanding of the legal and regulatory trust framework combined with practical expertise in the area of onboarding, managing and supervising trust structures
Strong sense of entrepreneurship with proven track-record in translating legal and regulatory requirements into feasible solutions
Very strong conceptual and analytical skills
Self-Starter and proactive. Drive enthusiasm for change
Excellent interpersonal skills and strength in relationship building with various stakeholders
