A key agenda over the next few years is the build-out of thestrategic payments platform to replace the current regional payments systems.The APAC delivery team covers the rollout of the new platform to the APACbranches.
As an experiencedprofessional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technologyprograms that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees andstakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of thebig-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as wellas a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, andbuild and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely withcolleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects andprograms that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish aroadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that ensuring that theproject is running on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines,including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with yourteam to set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture andbrand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
This role will beresponsible to manage payment projects that are part of the strategic Asiapayments roadmap, supporting the APAC Program Manager. Primarily focus will beensuring work streams within each project align to project objectives, such asrequirements, software design and development, infrastructure buildout, partnersystems dependencies, testing, rollout and client migration. The role willaccountable to technology, business and operations stakeholders for meetingcommitted scope and timelines, and tracking the project expenditure against thebudget.
This role requires awide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
Ensure Architecture alignment of delivery approach and completion of design artefacts
Engage the various AD teams - feature teams and component teams - are aligned with and committed to the project plans
Work with the UAT team to ensure test scope is agreed and track progress of test execution
Track all cross-impact partner teams to ensure they are aligned with the project plan
Work with Environment team to ensure availability of test environments
Engage Infrastructure team on server or datacenter buildout where there are onshore hosting requirements
Organize and chair various project working group meetings
Provide timely status reporting including availability of accuracy of burndown charts
Ensure prompt escalation of project issues as warranted
A strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
8 or more years of working experience in the banking domain with strong technical and project management background
10 or more years of IT Project Management experience including financial management.
Experience in running complex in-house development projects with multiple interconnecting systems and interdependencies
Experience in a global organization working with stakeholders in different geographies and time zones
Good communication and presentation skills
3-5 years of Cash management/Transaction Bankingprojects delivery in payments domain
PMP certification or equivalent project managementcertification
Experience in running projects adopting Agile softwaredevelopment methodology
