The Credit Portfolio Analyst II is an intermediate-level position responsible for conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. Report to the Unsecured Collection Risk Manager to monitor and manage Unsecured portfolios collection performance, including Credit Card & Personal Loans
Conduct risk assessments and client credit analyses, review financial results and peer analyses and prepare financial projections
Prepare green-light and transaction approval memos, conduct due diligence, build cash flow models and conduct sensitivity analyses
Escalate credit concerns/updates to senior risk and business managers and propose risk mitigation action to be taken by staying continuously informed of related developments/news for the portfolio and industry covered and understanding the credit process, policies and Citi's risk appetite
Assist with portfolio review preparation and conducting stress tests
Build working relationships with various teams across the bank, including deal, coverage and product teams
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Minimum 2-3 years of portfolio risk management experience in Cards and Unsecured Lending Products
Experience in credit model and decision engine management
Highly numerate, good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others with leadership potential
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven ability to work independently with good business acumen
Sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS word / excel / access / power-point is a musta must
Sitting under Consumer Bank Risk, this role is to manage the core risk collection strategy management function for the unsecured leading products, which including loss & provision forecasting, CCAR stress model management, regulatory reporting, high risk monitoring, quality control and conduct Stress testing exercise etc. Key tasks of the role include:
Report to the Unsecured Collection Risk Manager to monitor and manage Unsecured portfolios collection performance, including Credit Card & Personal Loans
Perform regular monitoring & validation on the collection strategy performance of the unsecured lending portfolios
Conduct collection management actions, such as early warning alerts, loan loss & provision forecasting, Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) model validation and maintenance
Conduct analysis to fine-tune the collection management strategies in order to minimize early delinquent bucket flow and mitigation policy to maximize recovery
Perform control programs to ensure relevant credit processes are in compliance with regulatory and group requirements
Participate in various stresses testing exercise with close collaboration with other functions such as modeler and regional coordinator, etc.
Prepare regular portfolio quality MIS & regulatory reporting with key commentary
