Job Description The Sourcing Manager will support the overall goals of the Procurement & Sourcing Group (PSG). The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for different categories, including but not limited to: Facilities Management, Professional Services, Human Resources, and Marketing. Day to day responsibilities include:
Support the management of multiple spend categories:
Conduct spend analysis and cost modeling
Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, demand management, process improvements, and vendor rationalization
Provide transparency through reports, scorecards, benchmarks that drive awareness of cost optimization opportunities to enable decision making
Assist in global implementation of sourcing policies and procedures
Conduct sourcing activities including but not limited to:
Independently gather and analyze market/financial data from internal and external sources in order to effectively manage assigned categories
Identify of new/alternate sources of supply while establishing alliances and managing supplier relations
Consolidate business/stakeholder requirements
Lead RFx events and contract negotiations
Collaborate with stakeholders on program/service implementation
Develop and execute complex negotiation strategies
Draft contractual terms and, as needed, liaise with other departments (Legal, InfoSecurity, Risk) to ensure optimal contractual arrangements and best practices are achieved
Coordinate and participate in Global/Regional/Local contract negotiations
Monitor overall supplier performance with SLAs, scorecards, business reviews etc. for strategic suppliers under the assigned categories
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels in the organization
Act as first point of contact for day to day questions, issue resolution, etc. for various categories
Liaise and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business and drive the growth of the procurement function
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university
3-6 years of relevant work experience in Procurement / Sourcing
Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus
Ability to write, implement, and make a recommendation using Request For Information, Quotation and Proposals
Experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms, recognizing and limiting risk
Strong vendor relationship management experience, including supplier development, diversity, risk management, performance management, and category management
Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as interpersonal skills, in order to effectively build relationships with internal and external clients and present business recommendations
Ability to analyze and write business cases, track results, and perform financial analysis reporting
Ability to perform trend analysis, forecasting, and modeling in order to provide recommendations
Ability to prioritize projects
Excellent organizational skills to multi task and prioritize projects
Ability to work autonomously while keeping management apprised of projects and initiatives
Bi-Lingual and Multi-Lingual candidates a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
