We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as RegionalSenior Facilities Management Operations Manager, Asia Pacific.
Responsible for leading and managing all outsourced services for the sub function, resolving any underperformance or issues and value add initiatives
Support the implementation of the Corporate Real Estate strategy in region by supporting any further outsourcing opportunities. Delivering in house solutions for some small countries, where outsourcing is not endorsed as part of the Corporate Real Estate strategy and as directed by Global Corporate Real Estate.
Ability to enhance supplier relationships and support Corporate Real Estates partnership approach to improve performance and to develop operational recommendation and amendments.
As a technical expert of Facilities Management, take proactive ownership, plan, drive and manage the respective functional area of Corporate Real Estate in region
Manage the portfolio and its services in line with the Corporate Real Estate strategy to ensure all business as usual activities are effective
Have high level understanding of the contracts and the scope of services for both the suppliers and HSBC
Lead and manage the relationship with suppliers as the main point of contact for the business to ensure delivery and adequate performance of services as outlined in the contract
Collaborate with the suppliers to resolve any unforeseen issues or underperformance to ensure no negative impact on the business
Ensure all operational risks are managed and maintained at a level acceptable to regional and Group Risk functions and adequate governance and processes are in place
Ensure all projects and services have been captured for the Annual Operating Plan process and review and recommend any action on expenditure for builds, expansions, upgrades to ensure delivery to plan and budget.
Ownership of all required data and systems to ensure they are updated in line with processes and reporting, to allow for effective planning, tracking and implementation of decisions
Using the available management information and data analysis, drive change and innovative solutions
Collaborate with and proactively manage stakeholders in the relevant business, functions and within Corporate Real Estate to maximise the integrated planning, budgeting, service enhancements and delivery for the Bank
Professional qualification in a Facilities Management discipline or a relevant equivalent experience
Significant experience in managing Corporate Real Estate activities in region
Comprehensive knowledge of Real Estate Supplier activities and issues faced by large corporates
Sound understanding of how banks operate, key challenges faced in the operating environment
Expertise and knowledge in relation to Supplier or technical expertise within a real estate context
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects of timely and quality results
Demonstrated results in delivering successful risk management and control processes
Good knowledge of real estate technology platforms for planning, analysis and decision making
Demonstrated results in managing suppliers and owing supplier or stakeholder issues
Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills
Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
Demonstrated commerciality on supplier management and areas balancing costs, customer demands, meeting high standards and Corporate Real Estate's requirements and supplier relationship management.
Ability to engage with senior executives of the Bank in country and deliver high level presentations
Ability to grasp, understand and independently handle new projects and ideas
