Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities;
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis for prospective investments;
Prepare data-driven investment recommendations;
Review fund and deal terms, negotiate and execute investment transactions;
Support ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of investments and the aggregate portfolio; and
Ideal candidate will be able to source deals and investment ideas.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal experience and competencies for the role include the following:
Top level academic background with professional qualification preferred
Demonstrable track record (7+ years) of leading transactions as a private equity investor, corporate financier, or mid-market banker (preference for candidates with relevant experience in the lower mid-market);
Demonstrable experience in leading and mentoring junior team members;
Exceptional technical knowledge, with strong relationship management skills;
Dynamic, tenacious, and ambitious approach, consistent with the rest of the team;
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
