Third Party AML Programs Risk Manager Thissenior leader will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective AMLPrograms for Mutual/Hedge fund customers as well as domestic bank customers. Lead projects and/or activities that ensure compliancewith applicable local laws and regulations in several differentjurisdictions. Develop executive levelpresentations to communicate effectively with senior leadership and keyregulators. Facilitate the identification of gapsand drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internalprocesses, systems or human errors. Ensures the active identification, responseand/or escalation of risks as appropriate with ability to makerisk-based decisions for time sensitive projects. Will influence policies and procedures to minimize regulatoryexposure. Accountable for an effective partnership between the Line of Businessand Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Ten or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment - Applicable certifications
- Extensiveknowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatorytrends that impact mutual funds/hedge fund/domestic banks - Extensive knowledge of the business lines operations, products/services,systems, and associated risks/controls - Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies includingall components of a sound AML Program - Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people;ability to drive action and meet deliverables - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications Primary Location: North Carolina-NC-Charlotte Work Locations: Job: Risk/Compliance/QC/Audit/Fraud Organization: U.S. Bank.
