iM Global Partner's distribution teams scale the distribution capabilities of the Partners to selectively access and broaden the reach of their investment strategies. We distribute to the main financial institutions and institutional investors in the US and internationally, the funds and mandates managed by the Partners or sub advised to them.
About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Manager specialized in the Asset Management industry to drive the successful creation and growth of sales for our business development platform for Swiss and UK markets, and Global strategic accounts, supporting the growth of our Partners through the distribution of their products. The person will interact with Wholesale clients, Private Banks and Funds of Funds managers.
Based in London or Zurich and reporting to the Head of European Distribution, you will be responsible for:
implementing, promoting and developing the iM Global Partner brand in the Swiss and UK markets, and with Global strategic accounts
creating the operational set-up for distribution to deliver success in the Swiss and UK markets, and with Global strategic accounts.
informing and updating key investor groups on the focus and competitive advantage of iM Global Partner's partnership with quality boutique asset managers. Groups include asset consulting firms, financial intermediaries, and leading institutional investors within iMGP's target markets.
Contributing to iM Global Partner's strategic planning process with focus on marketing, product development, and communications in relation to the Swiss and UK markets, and Global strategic accounts.
As part of our select team, you will bring your own professional expertise to the role by sharing your sales experience and ideas, as well as learning from others as we work collectively to build an innovative, intelligent business that creates value for our shareholders and partners.
With a minimum of 5-8 years of practical hands-on sales experience in the financial services industry, you will have an extensive understanding of investment management with demonstrable success in the Asset Management distribution structure.
It goes without saying that your relationships in the Swiss and UK markets will be second to none; alongside this you will be a proven leader with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Essential skills and experience:
Extensive understanding of investment management with a minimum of 5-8 years' successful track record in an Asset Management distribution structure.
Deep understanding of market dynamics for international managers and strong relationships in the Swiss and UK markets, as well as Global strategic accounts.
Strong industry knowledge of wholesale clients and financial institutions.
Highly knowledgeable in investment techniques across asset classes and geographies.
Proven leader with ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
Self-starter and problem-solver who thrives in a growing, team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Proficient with portfolio analytics and attribution.
No history of any regulatory findings or sanctions.
Verbal and written fluency in English.
Language skills in French and German would be an advantage.
