We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Product Manager, Commercial Card .
Develop a network and secure business opportunities with a core focus on HSBC Asia Pacific regional customer base
Identify and execute process or programme optimisation opportunities
Manage sales performance to meet or exceed set targets, cost and income
Manage costs to ensure that the target cost to income ratio is met or reduced
Help negotiate the terms of large commercial agreement, both internally and with clients, close sales and process contracts
Building relationships with new and existing clients to gain a clear understanding of their requirements
Develop and implement new ways of working with key clients for longer term partnerships
Provide clients with sales proposals that are both timely and professional in quality
Implement new activities and manage all commercial activities with sales colleagues
Understand market trends and the likely impact on revenue streams
Analysis and trend analysis
Monitor and analyse financial information, assessing business risks and implementing solutions to address these where necessary
Ensure customer satisfaction through monitoring of feedback
Communicate new income opportunities to internal stakeholders
Attend networking and local business groups to build links and keep up to date on local activities
Train internal stakeholders on commercial card product value proposition and features
Manage external communications for example agencies, brands and suppliers
Conduct presentations and ambassadorial duties as required
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Cards, Global Liquidity and Cash Management is desirable but not essential
Experience working in relevant environments, Commercial Banking is desirable but not essential
Past working experience in a relevant role, Product Manager, Sales, Commercialisation is essential
A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
Experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
Experience of building effective customer relationships which create customer advocacy
A track record of successfully identifying and developing significant, complex business propositions, that attract and entrench customers, in a fair and ethical way
