Reporting to the Head of Investments, the Business Development Manager will have responsibility for overseeing and growing the firm's activities in relation to client engagement, client development and fund raising across UHNWI and Family Offices globally. This will involve coverage of equities, fixed income, and alternative investments but have a predominate focus on their newer strategies of real estate and private capital (debt/equity).
Assist in the development of the strategic priorities for the firm's private capital and real estate investment activities. This includes assisting the launch of new funds and the evolution of products.
Develop a client engagement strategy to lead and coordinate all fund-raising activities with new and existing UHNWI and Family Offices.
Develop and deepen relationships with UHNWI and Family Offices whilst working closely with internal distribution and client channels to create visibility of the private capital and real estate investment activities.
Lead projects to assess investment products, market trends and the competitive landscape with a focus towards private capital and real estate.
Prepare content and contribute significantly to thought leadership, product commentary and broader marketing initiatives for UHNWI and Family Offices.
Prioritises and mediate between competing demands from other departments while demonstrating strong stakeholder awareness.
Excellent experience of business development with a track record of building relationships with UHNWI and Family Offices.
Demonstrable experience of success in fund raising and increasing AUM.
Knowledge of Private Capital (Equity and debt) or Real Estate.
