This role will make you a key, visible subject matter expert on Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABC), providing advice and managing queries from the bank's businesses and functions on ABC matters

What you'll do
The Anti Bribery & Corruption team in our Financial Crime function are subject matter experts on ABC regulation, process and policy. We're there to protect the bank while supporting our customers in their lawful activities, making sure we give positive outcomes. The wider Financial Crime function and Anti Bribery & Corruption in particular are seeing key investment as a result of their increasing importance and exposure in the industry, making this an ideal time to join and contribute to key strategic decisions.
As Anti Bribery & Corruption Risk Manager you'll guide the bank's businesses and functions, providing subject matter expertise and advice on ABC regulation, policy, processes and management. Other key aspects of your role will include:
Acting as the technical lead on ABC related matters, including attending governance meetings and coordinates key 2nd line of defence activities
Overseeing and challenging the business on the effectiveness of its management of bribery and corruption risks
Being aware of changes in the business environment, including customer target market developments, new products and technologies, and business growth; providing advice and guidance on the impact of ABC
Overseeing ABC related issues and the actions taken to address them
Approving higher bribery and corruption risk situations for associated parties, commercial sponsorships, corporate donations, referral employment opportunities or similar high risk situations
Developing and rolling out training materials to educate the business on anti bribery and corruption matters, providing targeted and bespoke training and communication
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with strong experience in financial crime advisory roles and a detailed understanding of relevant regulation, including the UK Bribery Act and US FCPA. We'll also expect:

Excellent communication skills allowing you to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels
Adaptability and the ability to work in a changing environment
