Responsibilities: As an Analyst, you will get hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring andfeedback while you build a strong foundation of investment banking skills.Public Finance offers its clients one of the broadest banking platforms in theindustry, combining banking, advisory services, underwriting, sales, trading,and credit origination. Analysts work with client coverage teams and must makean impact right from the start. You will work on a variety of transactions andinteract with clients.

This position is for a first or second year Analyst locatedin J.P. Morgan's New York office to work with a banking team. Issuers includevarious governmental entities and non-for-profit organizations. § Coursework in economics, publicpolicy and/or finance is preferred. Work experience in investment banking,financial services and/or public policy is desirable. § Candidates must demonstrate academicstrength, teamwork, written and oral communication skills, and a high energylevel. § You must work well under pressure andtight deadlines, and be able to synthesize large amounts of information todevelop creative solutions. § You must be adaptable, able to manageseveral projects simultaneously and assume a high level of responsibility.
