The Third Party Risk Management Onsite Assessment team within the Strategic Sourcing Group is responsible for assisting businesses and Corporate offices with managing third party risk and performance, while ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and TD BANK policies and guidelines. This position is primarily responsible for performing onsite assessments, analysis and the development of tools, to assist the TPRM Team in guiding TD Bank's Business Units in their efforts to mediate risk.
Maintains and promotes the Bank's Third Party Risk Management Policy according to established procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.
Acts as a strong user of Hiperos to providing support to the lines of business to ensure control assessments are moving through the process as needed for Onsite Assessments.
Be available to travel to vendor locations in the US and Canada.
Acts as a point of contact for the Risk Oversight Functions and Lines of Business to provide guidance on the details of the Onsite Assessment process and components.
Creates scoping documents for Onsite Assessment kickoff meetings
Hosts and drives the Onsite Assessment kickoff meetings, including sending out meeting minutes and onsite agendas.
Work with the vendor contacts and all Risk Oversight Functions to create/tailor agendas for Onsite Assessment visits.
During the Onsite Assessment, ensure the agenda is adhered to and escalate issues to the Vendor Managers if the need arises, to ensure effective use of the time at the vendor.
Ensure there is an agreed upon date for all follow up items after assessment.
Follow up with Risk Oversight Functions to ensure closure letters are created in a timely manner according to the SLA's.
Schedule and host internal and external calls to discuss the closure letters and any findings.
Researches pertinent information for department use, which may include compiling evidence from assessments.
Assists with the creation of presentations and associated materials including flowcharts.
Conducts presentations and/or meetings where necessary.
Records minutes of meetings.
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
5+ Years of related experience
Ability to travel within the US and to Canada
Proficient with MS-Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Preferred advance MS Excel skills.
Preferred working knowledge MS Visio
Must have excellent negotiating and influencing skills to be utilized during internal and external negotiations.
Must have strong Relationship Management skills, negotiation skills, Project Management experience, strong presentation and analytical skills.
Must have general knowledge of Strategic Sourcing lifecycle.
Specialized knowledge of the business and industry required to assess potential vendors.
Must have general knowledge of the TD Bank organizational structure, including the main business groups and their functions, key contact points.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative thinking
Strong desire to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing work environment
Internet researching skills
Must be detail oriented
Strong language (written/verbal) and communication skills
