We are currently looking for Investment Management Controller for our Budapest Office
The Finance Division protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to Firmwide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.
Responsibilities: The role entails the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, providing commentaries for expense variances, monitoring GL relating balances, in-depth review of marketing expenses, liaising with BUs for the calculation and posting of monthly accruals of specific GL lines.
- Prepare, ensure and maintain an accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management reporting of Investment Management Business Unit in various breakdowns - Providing commentaries for expense variances - Understanding various (sometimes complex) data flows into reporting systems, while looking to enhance current processes through automation/changing sourcing - Monitoring GL balances, break investigation and making necessary adjustments if appropriate - In-depth review of Marketing expenses - Liaising with relating business units, calculation and posting monthly accruals of specific GL expense lines - Carrying out tasks related to the job in accordance with the instructions of the NY controllers (ad hoc reporting) - Follow up on data integrity issues
