Job Title: Lending and Deposits Regulatory Support Corporate Title: Vice President Location: Jacksonville, FL
This position is responsible for working with Wealth Management Compliance and Legal to assist the WM Lending business in establishing, coordinating, and maintaining an effective compliance risk mitigation program. Emphasis will be on assisting the business with the implementation of new regulations, developing Key Operating Procedures, Training Staff, and preparing for, coordinating and responding to internal, federal and state regulatory audits. You will support the WM Lending team.
What You'll Do:
Assist the business by performing targeted Level 1 monitoring reviews and reporting
Management responsibilities for the AVP
Assist with the state licensing requirements for DB originating entities and with Mortgage Loan Originator licensing for applicable RLG Staff
Along with the business, WM Legal and WM Compliance coordinate the implementation of
Key Operating Procedures and controls applicable to newly enacted federal, state, and local laws
Maintain familiarity with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and coordinate the internal corporate regulatory risk assessment process
Work with the business and COO management to assist in facilitating the development and deployment of training and material procedure amendments
Work with business and COO management to trouble shoot and resolve issues found to be out of compliance and insure policy and procedures are implemented to prevent future issues
Provide day to day support to the business on regulatory related questions and issues
