JPM isseeking an ED (604) to lead data management for the Cross Product ChangeServices Team. This individual will lead / contribute to the following aspectsof change management and have key responsibilities as outlined below.
Engageand collaborate with senior operational and technology partners from eachsector and sub organization to identify opportunities for change acceleration, consistencyand quality of delivery as relates to data
Engagedata architects and data scientists in meaningful dialogue
Understanddata structures; Have m arket data knowledge and understanding of various vendorse.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, Broadridge
Cover Data testing across 5 LOBs, 10 LE's, and over 100critical applications
Liaisewith function leads, users, technology and key consumers to document dataobjectives, framework and roadmap
Analyse,consume, map, model, visualize, store, maintain, report and leverage data usingtechnology (and smart tools)
Producemetrics, KPI and analysis to assist the team in making data-driven decisions
Defineand map data relating to organizational roles
Designand implement an effective and top in class solution to capture, collate, storeand maintain real time data for purpose of analysing risk, measuring progressand performance (though a common database solution as an example) in changedelivery
Establishiterative data governance and reporting at all levels of the delivery lifecycleand for senior executives
Identifyways to resolve data pain points and maintain data integrity and consistency acrossfunctions consuming the same data in pre-production and test environments;Support data problems in test environments
Ensuremaintenance of data standards per Chief Data Office guidelines; Collaborateregularly with the Data Scientists and Chief Data Office to leverage bestpractices and industry trends to solve our problems
Defineand implement data validation approach to ensure data solutions comply with internaland external regulations / standards and monitor data integrity, standard andconsistency through iterative testing, especially where new features are beingintegrated
Definedata validation for various internal and external (client) platforms
Owndatasets for testing and those provided / used by vendors to test
Definerun books for data migration from legacy sources to new solutions as required
Definesecurity and backup procedures for data
Provideoperational support for Management Information Systems (MIS) and recommendsolutions to implement new or improve existing data sources (such as JIRA, ALM,SharePoint)
Preparedocuments explaining the data architecture, train folks in the team on dataarchitecture, principles and practices to reduce Key Person Dependencies
DesignCPCS data architecture to explore commercialization opportunities
CreateFTE efficiency saves, cost savings, reduce risk exposure, and more through dataremediation
The successful candidate willjoin a team focused on change delivery across products, help accelerate pace ofdelivery, provide metrics, KPIs to enable data based decision making and beresponsible for supporting the strategy and execution of Cross Product ChangeServices objectives and initiatives.
The role will require workingwith stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across theindustry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts inbusiness, technology, middle offices, product and client facing organizationsfirm wide should be developed and mined for best practices.
15+ years of work experience, preferably in financial services in operational, program or client experience disciplines
Graduate degree preferred
Executive-level verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence at senior and junior levels
Knowledge of the Securities, Markets and Wholesale Payments businesses, client base, operations and systems
Ability to Project manage issues/programs of varying complexity and drive business goals forward
