Our Client, a global investment bank, is seeking a Bilingual Compliance Analyst for its northern New Jersey location.
Responsible for reviewing new account documentation within benchmarked period
Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to resolve AML, Cross Border, or any other issues that occur during the account opening process.
Devise and facilitate training relating to account documentation policies and procedures for branches
Research corporate laws of different countries to ensure all required documentation is received
Recommend account opening related enhancements to the systems, policies, and procedures, and implement accordingly
Perform Quality Control Check for all Accounts Opened via KYC Manager at International Branches; Assure all required documents are completed and on file per account type, as well as check for FCP Certifications and Cross Border Approvals/Modules. Cross Border Licensing
Provide education across the firm regarding cross border licensing
Communicate process to branches including branch management teams, Financial Advisers, and Client Service Associates
Ensure that products and services requested by a client are in line with the country rules
Excellent communication, both oral and written, with ability to communicate and educate effectively
Ability to think outside the box and solve problems
Ability to work well independently and in a group setting
Excellent organizational skills
Strong computer skills (all Microsoft products)
College education with BS/BA
3 years or more of financial services work experience, preferably background in finance
Spanish fluent or Bi-lingual; Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking)
Knowledge of international corporate documentation and structures to ensure that AML risk is mitigated accordingly
