As our Senior Business Analyst, you will be working to deliver the implementation of a trade surveillance tool to help us efficiently manage our Market Abuse risk.
We will be working with 3rd party vendors to on-board SaaS applications that will need to integrate into our orders management system Aladdin along with various other channels.
Data transformation will be a large part of the role and understanding what the relevant data points are, where they can be obtained from and assisting a development team in setting up data files and SFTP's and getting these to the vendor whilst assisting in managing any challenges the vendor may have in understanding and interpreting the data.
You will be expected to write test cases, help with testing phases and supporting business readiness for the new tool including co-ordinating training, building and documenting business processes and assisting in the bedding down of the new tool, managing tolerances and working false positives out of the system.
As well as data transformation experience being a must, It is essential that you are able to demonstrate:
Experience with Integration/Onboarding/Implementation for orders management systems, front office trading applications or reg tech applications. Must have previous OMS experience, Aladdin or an equivalent OMS; thinkFolio/Charlesriver/BBG AIM.
Asset management, Investment management, Hedge fund, Buy side experience.
Strong cross asset class knowledge including but not limited to: Equites, Fixed income, ETD & OTC derivatives and MM from a data and trade lifecycle perspective.
Comprehensive understanding of data; including Asset Data, Position Data, Trade/Order/Position from OMS's, Market Data and Pricing.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability to work with various client side and 3rd party stakeholders to gather both business and technical requirements.
Strong documentation skills from requirements documents, workflows and TOM's.
Previous experience of an AGILE project and working environment.
Understanding of release processes, developing test cases and helping with UAT.
Experience developing and supporting a transition from the project to BAU.
Ability to use own initiative to prioritise workload and deliverables.
Ability to work to a deadline, independently if required.

The ability to manage multiple implementations concurrently.
Understanding of Market Abuse risk within a buy-side firm.
Knowledge of both private and public fixed income and their associated MA risks.
