In response to our strategic plans to grow our Business Credit Card portfolio, we are adding a key role to our new Payments Analytics Modeling team. We are looking for the right individual to contribute to this exciting opportunity by providing deep industry expertise within our fast growing credit card business to help some of the most influential entrepreneurs and investors launch and grow their business globally. We serve companies in the innovation space that includes hardware, software, fintech, life science, as well as premium wine clients.
The core responsibilities of this position are to conduct the data / reporting analytics for the bank commercial cards and managing the portfolio efficiently. Works closely with internal business parties and third-party service provider to engage in oversite of card risk strategy management, including, but not limited to: leveraging card data to develop fraud detective algorithms to enhance automation decision, proper and timely data reports for fraud management and underwriting management.

Develop the fraud risk management model through leveraging the current banking data
Decisioning actions to enhance client experience, dispute handling, monitoring, tracking and reporting on delinquencies and losses, compromised event management
Identify gaps in processes and work to resolve gaps and complete process improvement.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
This individual will apply industry knowledge and subject matter expertise to effectively perform the following:
Responsible for card risk management strategies and monitoring and analyzing performance of accounts in Card Services Portfolio. Review and analyze accounts as well as the daily reporting of blocked accounts due to suspect transactions, determining changes in card account programs. Develop algorithm to detect the fraud transactions and risk mitigation automation
Analytical support of data management. Responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting Credit card frauds and credit decision. Develop and maintain policy and procedures for handling credit card compromised events and credit deterioration cases.
Forecasts delinquencies and losses to support provisioning and all other risk management processes. Develops reporting for credit card losses and forecasting. Collaborate with vendor and Relationship Advisors to appropriately resolve delinquencies.
Oversight of card account charge-off and collateral redemption processes
This risk manager will need to develop strong internal relationships and work closely in partnership with IT, Data Analytics, Centralized Card Management Team, Credit Administration, Card Product, and Payment Operation. The right individual will have both influence and exposure to the Credit and Payment Leadership Team.
Education Required: BS/BA Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Math or Economics
Education Preferred: Master Degree is a plus.
2-5 years of strong and direct experience in commercial credit analysis, commercial financial facility underwriting, fraud and account management, and portfolio monitoring. Prefer deep experience on data management in deferent data systems, especially commercial card systems (FD, TSYS, etc.)
Expertise in data analytics of commercial loan portfolio management, particularly over small business credit card portfolios. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience of credit card risk management, credit card related regulatory compliance, dispute/chargeback processing, and operations functions, including but not limited to monitoring, tracking and reporting delinquency, losses and potential card compromised events
Experience in developing analysis to support and advance the business
Creates reporting and ad-hoc data analysis to explain/understand performance shifts within the portfolio
Minimize risk exposure including credit and fraud losses
The ability to conduct data analysis for card fraud detection and risk mitigation. Use data analytics to guide rule writing process
Data management, commercial card credit analysis and excellent communication skills
Ability to structure solutions to complex problems, self-motivated, and have ability to actively lead and implement ideas in a cross-functional team environment
Sound judgement & strong decision-making skills
Well organized with a strong ability to multi-task
Able to effectively communicate performance results, performance updates and key initiatives
Must master at least one of the data management software / computer languages: SAS, R, SQL, Python to conduct daily analytics and process massive data efficiently. Mast be able to use SQL based database tools, Access, Visual Basic and Tableau at an intermediate level
Must have strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and facilitation skills to lead meetings or interviews with subject matter experts and other project contributors or stakeholders. Must be able to collaborate with all related business partners internally and externally
