Client Reference Data (CRD) is responsible for all of the account and legal entity data, as well as documents and contracts, leveraged across Morgan Stanley's institutional trading platforms. Client Reference Data is looking for a Business Analyst to support analysis and development within the Negotiated Documents platform. The ideal candidate will develop requirements and manage end to end development of Client Contract Lifecycle.
Resolve business support requests raised by users
Experience working with vendor product 'Exari'.
Experience working with Financial messages (FIXML. FpML and FIX) and protocols.
Work with business teams to help define business requirements
Analyse and conceive new business processes and re-engineer existing ones for optimization
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team
Liaise between business and technical teams to ensure a full understanding of requirements on both ends
Document and create use case scenarios for quality assurance testing
Ensure new business requirements are thoroughly vetted and signed off by business unit users and then understand how these requirements fit into the global requirements or can be leveraged by other business units.
Coordinate and track business support activities, and supervision of customer communication and service levels
Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing
Document and memorialize product and business knowledge to make it accessible to team members and end users
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or equivalent work experience in an analytical area
Knowledge in Finance or Banking industry
Knowledge of Document Management platforms a plus
Knowledge of Client Reference data
Modelling of business processes.
Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles/concepts.
Good understanding of SQL.
Experience with JIRA.
Experience in Client Reference Data domain is a plus
