We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Legal Counsel.
Playing a significant role in a team of negotiators to support the business in their documentation requirements
Effectively negotiating, executing, and handling in-scope documentation with the Group's external clients in the area of responsibility.
Ensuring key legal, regulatory and credit risks are addressed appropriately for the area of responsibility.
Conducting capacity, netting and collateral enforceability assessments across all counterparty types and business lines.
Managing internal projects in the roll out of new initiatives, such as the use of new databases or other internal systems, to address regulatory changes, standard template or policy updates.
Legal background, qualified lawyer or law degree preferred, but not essential.
Experienced negotiator background in the derivatives field.
Experience in negotiating ISDA Master Agreements, GMRAs, GMSLAs and related or similar documentation.
Prior experience in a similar role.
Good written English skills a must; Mandarin Chinese and or Japanese language skills preferred, but not essential.
