Analysis of property/real estate investment opportunities, market and deal research, and supporting the firm's transaction execution and portfolio reporting.
Build and run financial models and lead all financial analysis that informs investment decisions
Financial analysis will include of a wide range of property investments across the UK (London and the regions) and multiple asset classes.
Build investment cash flow models which incorporate tax, debt, asset management initiatives and scenario analysis.
Meeting agents to discuss potential investments and viewing all potential acquisitions.
Conduct research to formulate the in-house key underwriting assumptions.
Analysis and interpretation of property, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational benchmarking.
Meeting with JV Partners to discuss business plans and investment appraisals.
Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including writing investment committee memos and presentations to partners.
Work within a small, flat team, coordinating directly with senior team members and external advisors, allowing broad exposure to deals at an early stage.
Assist with significant asset management initiatives and strategic asset management of select assets.
Monthly reporting to JV Partners and debt providers.
The Senior Analyst/Associate must have a strong numerical undergraduate degree from a top-tier university and ideally a Masters in Real Estate/Finance
Proven experience in investment / financial analysis and transaction support, preferably within the UK real estate sector (2-5 years' experience).
Strong analytical, technical and valuation skills, with a passion for property/ real estate and financial modelling.
Proficient in Argus Valuer Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in presentation preparation, research and co-ordination of due-diligence.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to interact with external advisors and peers. Potential to develop industry network and contacts with peers over time and represent the firm in the market.
Experience within a real estate private equity, real estate investment manager or real estate fund.
Team player; self-starter; diligent, able to take initiative and work in a dynamic environment; professional and positive attitude.
Flexible, with an ability to work in a small and dynamic team.

Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, are required along with the ability to work independently and with fellow employees as part of a transactions team.
