You will work in a team who are responsible for the creation and delivery of insurance regulatory contracts and policy communications to end customers across all products (commercial & personal) nationally. You will ensure all policy documents sent (digital & post) to our customers meet required regulatory and legal standards and be a key player in regulatory policy communication strategy within Australia Division. This position gives you an exciting opportunity to create/design/harmonise/deliver policy documents to Australia's largest general insurer. The role will give you exposure to the broader business and stakeholders from Legal, Compliance, Technology, Distribution, Product, Marketing etc building your brand and insurance knowledge.
Apply product/regulatory requirements to all customer facing policy documents such as schedules, auto generated letters, email templates etc.
Understand the business need and write technical print specifications/rules that drive the print output.
Analyse potential impacts to peripheral products and document sets.
Liaise with multiple internal stakeholder groups, utilising your technical knowledge and to influence decision makers, make recommendations and areas to ensure effective document implementation
Effective and timely delivery of all policy documents
Escalate and provide support in take appropriate actions in case of breaches
Skills & Experience
Must have previous experience in preparing product and legal, legislation related documents ideally in Insurance or Financial service industries
Demonstrated understanding of compliance regulations
Business/print specification and XML, CCS (cascading style sheets) skills
Good understanding of policy systems codes, cyphers, flags
General Insurance Product knowledge - Commercial and personal highly desirable
BA and testing experience highly desirable
