We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Business Financial Crime Risk Manager .
Assist in providing business and functions on the financial crime risk related advices through educating and supporting source information, policies and regulations as a subject matter expert.
Perform gap analysis on FCR policies and regulations
Prepare and implement new and update to FCR policies by communicating update to business and functions and tracking to implementation completion and post implementation success
Provide content to FCR reports and MI for reporting to local and Group Insurance and FCR team
Assist BFCRR Line manager and Vice President on their tasks on FCR related matter
Assist in the review of policy compliance management maturity on Insurance business and roll out across relevant business and functions
Coordinate with all Lines of Business, Wealth, Insurance Business Services teams to ensure oversight of regulations are adequate and policies and guidance are adhered to.
Assist in pulling the content of FCC reports and data MI for reporting to local and Group Insurance and FCC
Assist in FCC operations monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of tracking and escalation
Ascertain that measures are developed, implemented and effective across business Operations
Coordinate and review with stakeholders on Tax matters, updates, issues, and reporting to ensure compliance with Customer Tax requirement.
Support Insurance operations teams on BAU regulatory and tax compliance.
Educated to degree level in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Technology or related field with some experience in Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime Compliance and regulatory compliance, prior experience in Insurance preferred
Preferably with experience in the financial services industry
Strong communication and inter personal skills, with experience of dealing with stakeholders
Experience of working within a matrix environment preferred including reporting international
A strong team player and able to work with other business and functional teams member and line managers
Understanding of HSBC strategy, organisation, systems and processes
Demonstrable insurance business knowledge.
Ability to analyse situations and solve operational problems
With some experience of managing Audit or Internal Control teams
Able to plan, track and control operational activities
Knowledge of the external environment such as regulatory, political, competitors
Drive and motivation to ensure delivery in a challenging environment
Track record of positive interactions across the business and functions
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across cultures in the organisation
Proven behaviour to do the right thing, take accountability personally, demonstrating good time management and commitment to the assigned deliverables
