In Canada we also finance recreational and leisure vehicles, and serve the Prime and Non-Prime Auto market. This position reports into the Senior Manager Analytics & Information Management (AIM) within Product & Strategy Group. The AIM team supports the entire Canadian auto finance organization with reporting, data consulting and adhoc analyses from product development, sales and loan acquisition to operations and servicing customers.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about and be at the forefront of a dynamic business while supporting a multitude of critical initiatives across TDAF Canada. This manager will work closely with various internal and external teams to provide & maintain accurate and reliable reporting & information to TDAF leadership and their functional areas to drive effective business decisions and operational excellence.
This includes directing the information management initiatives and projects, supporting AIM team members with the development of reporting and coding of solutions, driving out reporting and analytic efficiencies, building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, and developing data architectures to build for the future.
Understanding of Data-Warehousing and Analytical Infrastructure methodology
5 years+ experience in developing and managing database technologies
Knowledge of ETL processes using a variety of technologies (i.e. SSIS, Podium & Talend)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite (SSDT, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Knowledge of Business Intelligence industry technologies (Cognos, Tableau, Hadoop etc)
Know how of tools like Hive, Python, Visual Studio, MKS source control
Demonstrates the ability to operate and utilize cross-platform technologies including SQL Server, Cognos, IBM DB2, Teradata
Strong understanding of data flows, definitions and keeping data in an organized and structured way through entity relationships, metadata and data dictionaries is essential
Setting design requirements for net new reporting solutions and as such being comfortable translating business requirements into technology requirements
Recommend solutions to business problems and act as a subject matter expert to business partners
Develop efficient and effective methodologies for collecting, analyzing and presenting data
Streamline reports & processes to achieve maximum optimization and automation
Support and execute the bank-wide data governance framework

Education and Accreditation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience is an asset
