Digital is one of our key distribution channels. Digital has a global mandate and an enterprise-wide strategy for the online and mobile channels across TDBG. The aim of the channel is to deliver an exceptional, seamless and effortless experience for customers who manage their finances online. The team works closely with partners from across the Bank, including the Lines of Business of TD Canada Trust, TD Wealth, TD Insurance, Business Banking and TDAF and is focused on creating legendary experiences for TD's active online and mobile customers.
As a leader for Mobile Innovation within the Digital Performance and Delivery team (Wealth, Insurance, Business Banking, TDAF), the successful incumbent is responsible for influencing and evaluating new capabilities and opportunities and working with teams to develop the roadmap and implement across the platforms with primary focus on mobile. The successful incumbent is results oriented and has a passion for digital, mobile and innovation with an understanding of sales, adoption, engagement and customer experience to ensure initiatives are in alignment with business and channel strategies.
Reporting to the VP, Digital Performance and Delivery of the Portfolio, the incumbent is responsible for:
Drive the digital & mobile product strategy within the portfolio with a future-looking vision and communicate across the team
Act as single point of contact for your team's Portfolio to guide and support discussions around evaluating new capabilities for Wealth, Insurance, Business Banking and Auto Finance
Collaborate closely with the Portfolio team to understand business problems and define digital & mobile priorities
Track digital & mobile innovation in our business sector and outside, establishing a point of view on the relevance to TD
Provide enterprise thought-leadership by ensuring timely and articulate communication on innovation as and when required by the businesses within the Portfolio
Work closely with the Performance leads of the portfolio to establish the associated KPIs for digital & mobile that are aligned to business goals and objectives
Establish ongoing cadence of communication and working sessions with the emerging capabilities team and emerging partnerships team with the lens of looking for opportunities within the Portfolio
Maintain and share detailed, in-depth competitive analysis, offer interpretation that will help guide decisions relative to trends
Work with Product Owners to identify key needs, perform gap analysis, assess new ideas and participate in prioritization of initiatives
Understand risk issues related to delivery of digital & mobile capabilities and work with risk, compliance, legal, audit, TRMIS and delivery teams to create mitigation plans
Work with your Product Owners to establish an annual plan and roadmap with a focus on 3-month planning horizons of Plan, Commit and Execute
Create a framework for future digital & mobile feature development
Support the Product Owners, DCX and development team as they begin to gather and prioritize the requirements for Delivery Planning
Support and execute digital & mobile product awareness and adoption activities
Interact with customer facing teams to understand the voice of the customer and react to unplanned opportunities based on feedback
Digital and/or Mobile experience and/or product management experience: defining digital and/or mobile strategy, evaluating capabilities, establishing KPIs, forecasting results, assessing performance against targets and identifying market and competitive opportunities to continuously grow the business
Senior level relationship management; high impact and influence role; proven ability to execute with excellence.
Strategic thought leadership and collaborative coordination
Passion for following and tracking industry trends and incorporating relevant information into day to day activity
Strength in digital, mobile and innovation. Proven experience driving the digital and/or mobile client experience - sales, adoption, engagement and other key web metrics through Digital.
Strong team player, able to develop strong working relationships and very strong organizational awareness. Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams is an asset.
Enterprise knowledge and ability to navigate through a large / matrixed organization
The candidate is required to have excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written) and is able to work in a change driven environment.
The successful candidate will have project related experience, in addition to having mobile experience, extensive Financial Industry experience, preferably in Wealth, Insurance and Business Banking.
Undergraduate degree required, MBA (or relevant graduate degree) would be an asset.
