We are looking for Capital Planning Professional (Budapest Office)
The Capital Team manages the Firm's long-term capital resources on a global basis. The Capital team is responsible for monitoring, reporting on and facilitating the execution of Morgan Stanley's capital adequacy assessments. This includes, but is not limited to, serving as the primary liaison between Capital Planning and various internal and external participants/ stakeholders involved in CCAR and other capital planning/stress testing efforts. The Team develops policies regarding equity capital requirements, capital structure, dividends and stock repurchases; promotes the optimal use of Firm capital while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Firm capital requirements; provides strategic analysis and guidance around issues and transactions with capital implications; and co-ordinates the Firm's stress test as required by the Federal Reserve Board and the Dodd-Frank Act. The team in Budapest works closely with the New York office.
The Associate-level role covers key processes of the Capital Planning Process, including: - Perform key capital planning responsibilities related to capital planning documentation, governance, and controls - Coordinate with key stakeholders including Risk, Finance and Treasury to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with risk/issue escalation and resolution where needed - Produce summary presentations for Firm Senior Management and the Board of Directors - Assist in the production and coordination of capital adequacy assessments - Maintain Process, Risk, and Control Standards for Capital Planning - Support capital planning and stress testing process enhancements and internal control initiatives
- Comfortable utilizing business technology platforms (e.g. Microsoft Office) and cloud based solutions (e.g. Vena or Wdesk), in order to create, edit and aggregate company-wide documents and senior management presentations - Ability to quickly understand business process tasks / dependencies, data flows, and users roles / responsibilities - Strong analytic, writing and presentation skills, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity - Ability to work on multiple projects under compressed timeline - Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment - Confident, proactive, and independent self-starter - 2 to 4 years of professional experience in financial services
