Be a subject matter expert within the Static Data Collateral Department and provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a technical level
Be able to demonstrate a knowledge Derivatives, OTC, Cleared and Repo margin.
Good understanding of simple and complex CSAs
Demonstrate awareness of recent and upcoming regulations and how they impact Collateral Operations
Provide constant process review identifying improvements and pro-actively contribute to the change management process by quantifying benefits and potential impacts
Technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
Manages multiple client queries and issues, ensuring their timely resolution
Provides support and builds relationships with business partners and brokers/counterparties
Delivers a work product that requires less revision
Develop a thorough understanding of all the client service models, individual client strategy and future growth potential
Own relationships from a Collateral perspective with highly demanding and complex clients
Effectively manage client expectations and communication on all matters relating to collateral
Analyse complex client queries engaging appropriate support areas, collating responses and fully owning the item through to resolution
Handle difficult client situations professionally and in a timely manner ensuring the necessary level of attention is applied by all partners involved
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
Proven track record in Derivative operations and /or financial services of between 2-5 years industry experience from either the buy or sell institutions.
Thorough knowledge of a derivatives operations environment obtained from experience of working in a back or middle office, trade support, BA, risk management or finance.
Excellent management and communication skills for the benefit of developing the relationship with both the external client and internal stakeholders
Exceptional self-starting skills, attention to detail and an ability to manage simultaneous activities through to resolution
Must be very flexible in approach and open to change
Good knowledge of Colline will be advantageous
Analytical and problem solving skills are required
