As a Head of Private Client, you will be a leader in managing a profession team (Hong Kong and Shanghai) to provide the highest quality end-to-end services including pre-IPO planning, estate planning, business succession, philanthropic giving, and succession planning. Utilize our powerful platforms an expertise in how to make the most of corporate entities, family trusts, charities and foundations to work for you and your family.
It is important that you lead the commercial success and operational excellence of the Private Client Services portfolio and collaborate with the Corporate and Company Formations Teams. Ultimately, client satisfaction is paramount leading to consistent advocacy for our services. The role requires an absolute passion and genuine interest in assisting and being relevant in the lives of our clients.
Lead the Greater China private client service line in accordance with the Vistra corporate purpose
Define the Greater China PC Strategy, including how to effectively attract new clients, cross-sell to existing clients
Holds P&L responsibility for Greater China Private Clients services and works with Division, Sales & Marketing and own regional team to ensure the delivery against the annual target and longer-term business plan
Identifies and executes specific PC client opportunities whilst also continually building the opportunity pipeline
Actively engages with Product Leadership Team (PLT) and Divisional management to ensure a relevant Private Client product portfolio and services delivery to meet client needs
Relevant tertiary qualification - Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 10+ years of experience in senior roles in the Private Clients industry. (CPA, MBA or advanced degree preferred)
Proven experience as a leader of business planning, budgeting, and managing P&L for a business of this type
Experience in developing, implementing, optimizing business processes in the Private Client investments funds space
Strong knowledge of Private Client business and operations, familiarity with investment accounting rules and standards, and a keen understanding of applicable tax reporting and regulatory requirements
Strong management skills and demonstrable success overseeing multijurisdictional private client operations during a period of significant change, utilising an agreed set of KPIs to deliver optimal outcomes
Proven client service record within a HNW or UHNW client market
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Preferred candidates will sound commercial acumen as well as solid experience in financial services or a related industry.
