As an annuity product manager at JPMC you will be joining oneof the leading global financial services firms. Our U.S. Individual Annuityproduct team focuses on helping Americans accumulate assets for retirement andturning those assets into an income stream that cannot be outlived.
The successful candidate for this position demonstrates strongleadership and communication skills and the ability to deliver pricing resultsrelating to individual retail fixed, index, and variable annuities. Theability to lead and innovate product design for our private bank, retail bankand brokerage clients, partner with carrier product/actuary teams, and leaddelivery of products working closely with our internal support partners isessential. This role will report to the head of annuity product development.
Responsibilities will include:
Support all product development R&D with timely financial
and risk analysis
Ensure consistency where appropriate in all pricing assumptions
and methodologies for all products
Build out a broad set of pricing metrics to deliver product
value to consumers and harmonization across platform
Provide real-time pricing analytics for all fixed, index, and
variable annuity products currently being sold in the market
Develop solutions that wrap advisory strategies, including
Develop and drive JPMC product roadmap, driving critical
capabilities from concept to customer
Monitor product changes and enhancements against JPMC requirements
and ensuring regulatory compliance
Serve as a product SME in support of Sales, marketing and
our control partners
Manage carrier relationships and day to day business.
Serve as subject matter expert for investment specialists,
planners and internal sales desk .
Strong technical skills, including annuity financial statement and hedging knowledge
Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy to understand fashion
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills demonstrated ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts 5 years of annuity pricing and product development preferably at a manufacturer strongly required, additional annuity distribution experience a plus
Ability to assist the head of annuity product development develop robust platform product requirements and negotiate desired product designs with our insurance carrier partners
Demonstrated high level of detail orientation and can manage multiple projects efficiently
Knowledge of distribution regulatory impacts to product design a plus
Experience in leading business transformation initiatives and/or project management skills a plus MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint required Life & Health Licenses
Series 7 or 6 required, Series 24 preferred
