Build and maintain effective working relationships as the first point of contact with rating groups
Lead projects to improve the quality of credit analysis, ratings quality and credit practices
Provide guidance to rating teams to ensure consistency with methodologies, adherence to best practice and to challenge analytical thinking with a different perspective
Represent RPO internally to Ratings & Research staff and management
Represent RPO to regulators, issuers and investors, both on methodological/policy issues and more generally on credit-related analytical views
Participate in the coordination of cross-rating group credit initiatives
Write, review and contribute to high profile regional research & outreach
Coach and develop other members of the team
Substantial credit/risk assessment experience gained from a rating agency, financial institution, asset management, regulator or public accounting firm, or proven equivalent
Extensive understanding of banking and its related regulatory environment, ideally with a focus on the European region and global regulatory initiatives
Excellent oral and written communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly including the ability to articulate complex analytic and strategic issues and influence audiences of different skill and knowledge levels
Strong intellect with a high tolerance for complexity and a track record for idea generation
Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and represent Moody's effectively
Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills
Strong academic background. Highly organised and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
