The Enterprise Data, Analytics & Reporting Enablement (EDARE) team is responsible for helping bring the Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy to life through the development, deployment and ongoing management of data management, reporting, BI and analytics capabilities, along with supporting business processes and business administration. We are a diverse group of specialists who balance business acumen, business architecture, technology savvy, best-in-class delivery, and strong relationship management skills, while working closely with both business and technology partners. This team maps out required capabilities across the entire data & analytics spectrum, working across many segments and businesses to ensure our enterprise capabilities help enable better business outcomes through enhanced data-related capabilities. More specifically, the EDARE team is comprised of three key pillars, with mandate to collaborate, enable and evolve:
Operations (RTB) - The Operations service pillar is accountable for operations of ED&A applications / platforms used by LoBs & Segments and ensuring adherence to SLAs to enable efficient use of these applications / platforms
Change Delivery (CTB) - The Change Delivery pillar is accountable for ED&A CTB initiatives (programs/projects) and their successful detailed planning and delivery (on-time, within budget)
Product Ownership/Strategy - The Product pillar owns the full ED&A product stack (inclusive of Akora platform) and is accountable for product strategy, LoB adoption of ED&A products and alignment of LoB data solutions
About This Role
The Data Analytics and Reporting Specialist belongs to the Product Ownership/Strategy pillar. The specialist leverages deep experience and understanding of data, analytics and reporting practices to provide business partners with relevant and high-impact advice, solutions and adoption support to leverage a Hadoop platform for data storage, management and analytics. The role provides functional and technical advice for business across the Enterprise on how best to leverage the Hadoop technologies for their analytic practices. Key accountabilities include:
Stakeholder relationship management
Training business across the enterprise on how to leverage enterprise platforms and Hadoop-based tools for data analytics
Consultative support to enable business to migrate their data activities from traditional tools and applications for analytics to enterprise platforms and solutions
Documentation and knowledge dissemination of best practices for working in the enterprise ecosystem
Evolvement of training curriculum to include new enterprise tools and capabilities
Solicit and document stakeholder feedback while working with them to adopt and leverage the enterprise tools and capabilities
Leverage first-hand experience in working with data teams across the Enterprise to help build product target state and roadmap
The role will have a proven track record of solving data, analytics and reporting problems through sustainable design and creative problem solving. The successful applicant will have practical exposure and understanding of a broad spectrum of data, analytics and reporting uses; application design, data modeling, data integration, analytics, advanced analytics and Big Data concepts. An ideal candidate will have delivered BI Reporting & Analytical projects utilizing the aforementioned techniques within a LOB.

Experience (5+ years) across data, analytics and reporting roles, which may include: warehouse / BI platform ownership, Business Information Management, Business Analytics, Advanced Analytics
Experience with SQL, databases and Excel
Experience with Tableau is valued
Knowledge of Big Data tools and concepts such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark is valued
Superior relationship management skills - ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to identify solutions, resolve problems quickly and create bridges between groups
Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate concepts clearly to both business and technology teams
Bring a strong willingness to be learn and adapt to evolving tools and technologies in keeping with industry trends
A team player who shares their knowledge and supports the Enterprise success
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Experience in working with data in numerous languages across many platforms is highly value
