What is the opportunity? As a Product Associate in Retirement Solutions , you will serve as a primary platform support for US individual retirement accounts, retirement plans and annuities across the RBC Wealth Management distribution channel. You will be creative and help drive development, support, growth, and risk management of RBC Wealth Management's Retirement Solutions platform(s). This role is directly aligned to functional and organizational responsibilities around client service and operational risk management.
What will you do?
Support the Retirement Solutions team on projects required to ensure compliance with regulators, competitiveness, and advisor satisfaction
Serve as liaison between advisors and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mutual funds
Support Retirement Solutions on managing risk associated with product suitability and sales practices and support platform for documentation changes, policy changes, communication plans, and technical resource
Assist with routine and ad-hoc administrative activities, including departmental reporting, information collection, vendor relationships, and billing
Develop relationships with internal partners and external vendors to enhance service, minimize risk, and drive growth in platform assets.
Maintain internal web sites related to support Retirement Solutions
Assist in the production of regular and ad-hoc reports and development and execution of key strategic initiatives (Particularly with regards to mutual funds)
Identify appropriate solutions to product and business challenges, and manage the implementation of enhancements to existing programs
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) with preferred concentration in business, economics, finance, or marketing
Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment industry
Basic mutual fund product knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheet - Ability to adapt to changing technology
1 - 3 years financial markets experience
Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66
